Something Beautiful

I want to say something beautiful about the state of being human,

about how pain paints rainbows in the soul,

how losses carve rivers in the spirit,

how tears crystalize in diamonds within the heart.

It is all beautiful -

Mystified acts of growth

leading into wisdom's path.

Humanity and divinity hand in hand.

I want my words to reveal the beauty of colors not seen, showing what hides beneath and profoundly within.

However they fail me at describing so powerful content - and I silence both awestruck and empty contemplating the depth, the width and the power of all that lays etched and sealed.

And even then

I long to say something beautiful as

words jump and quiet at the sound of an unheard melody.
