Last Time

Will it be in the morning as you say goodbye?

Will it as you exchange a hug

Waiting for the plane to take flight?

Will it be at bedtime

As you kiss good night?

It is as unpredictable

As it is sure as a fact:

The last time will come just to take loved ones forever apart.

But fear not: we still have today

to hug a little longer and squeeze gently and tight.
